Middleby UK partner with Josper

Josper Charcoal Equipment will now be supplied to the UK market via Middleby UK.

The charcoal oven specialist was acquired by The Middleby Corporation in 2018, though the firm stated this has not changed its strategy in the UK.

Through Middleby UK, Josper intends to keep on offering its equipment, technical and gastronomic support as usual to its existing clients, but will furthermore operate through Middleby’s existing solid channels.

Chris Jones, Group Managing Director at Middleby UK said: “It is fantastic that this desired brand has come home.

“We will ensure that it secures the correct market penetration backed up with the newly formed culinary team headed up by Paul Hickman our culinary director. Paul will be heading up the Josper culinary school and will spearhead the success of this amazing brand in the UK.”

Prior to this, Josper was provided to the UK via Jestic Foodservice Solutions.

Middleby UK, based in Wigan, also represents a portfolio of brands such as Pitco, Houno, Carter Hoffman, PerfectFry, Concordia and TurboChef, Lincat, IMC and Britannia Kitchen Ventilation.
