Middleby makes pact with MAK to drive Varimixer UK sales

Middleby UK has partnered with MAK Commercial Solutions to focus on driving the Varimixer professional mixing equipment brand deeper into the UK market.

MAK Commercial Solutions is a distribution business set up by Mark Finney, who previously worked in sales with FEM and Rational.

His firm also represents Danish QSR equipment supplier FKI Fast Food Teknik, which is currently trying to develop its dealer network in the UK.

He said: “I am thrilled to partner with Middleby UK drive the Varimixer brand into the market. Varimixer is a fantastic, well-respected brand with a large portfolio of high-quality production solutions, and I am confident that MAK Commercial Solutions will be able to push the brand’s solutions further into the UK foodservice industry to secure additional market share.”

Varimixer became available in the UK via Middleby earlier this year but the business hopes to boost sales and exposure through the extended tie-up.

Chris Clark, managing director at Middleby UK, said he is confident the partnership will enable significant growth for the brand.

He commented: “We are extremely excited about this new partnership, and are looking forward to seeing how MAK Commercial Solutions can propel Varimixer further into the UK market.
