Houno to launch efficient new tools for Invoq ovens

Danish manufacturer Houno is planning to launch a series of new innovations around its Invoq combi ovens early next year, including an app to simplify installation and an accessory specifically for basement kitchens.

Invoq combi ovens were unveiled to UK dealers in February this year and represented Houno’s first major product launch for more than a decade.

Almost a year on, the Midleby-owned brand has been exploring ways to add further value to the portfolio and will begin rolling out a series of new products from January 2024.

This includes the Invoq ServiceApp, which is designed to enhance the installation process and ensure a seamless start to the life of Invoq ovens.

The app, which is compatible with both Android and iOS devices, will guide technicians on resolving any issues that may arise in order to minimise downtime and expedite maintenance procedures.

It will feature user-friendly service support that facilitates effortless installation and provides a straightforward means of identifying error codes.

Meanwhile, the company also plans to introduce a ventless Invoq oven with ‘Hoodini’ hood to the market, alongside gas models.

And it will unveil the Invoq Drain Lift system, a “game-changing” solution that is specifically designed to facilitate the effortless disposal of wastewater into a wall-mounted tundish drain.

The ready-to-install, external automatic water lifting station features an integrated drainage assistance pump controlled by the oven software.

Invoq said the device caters to the unique needs of basement kitchens and other locations with wall-mounted drains.

Houno collaborated with five Middleby partner brands over a six-year period to create the Invoq oven range.
