Middleby Meets: Chris Clark

Meet our National Sales Manager, Chris Clark. Joining the Middleby UK team in August 2020 with over 13 years of experience in the Catering world, we can’t wait to see what he’s got up his sleeve! For now, let’s learn some more about Chris…

So Chris, tell us a bit about yourself.

I was born in Bristol and I’ve spent my entire working life in a sales role, with a large part of it at a huge distributor within the hospitality industry. During my time there I had numerous roles and spent a large part of my time there leading a team of 10 Key Account Managers across the UK!

What’s your favourite thing about working at Middleby UK?

That’s a tough one! I call it the 3 Ps – I love the pace, the products and the people. We have a fantastic team with a great culture, which is key to success in any business. Our products are exciting and innovating which makes every day exciting for me.

How long have you been at Middleby?

I started at MUK in August 2020, so only a few months, but a great few months! I still have a lot to learn but I’ve enjoyed every minute so far.

What’s your favourite product?

That’s difficult to choose – we have so many! Currently I’d say it’s the Perfect Fry because of it’s WOW factor. It’s something I’ve not seen previously and the customers that I’ve shown it to in my short time here have all been amazed.

What do you get up to outside of work?

I have three children – Tilly, 9, Charlie, 7, and Barney, 3 months, so in my free time (when I have some in between watching kids TV!) I like to spend time with them, going on nice walks and occasionally managing to get out on my bike!

And finally, just for fun, what’s your favourite food?

Well, who doesn’t love a pizza!
